@DVLAgovuk only if you have a current passport. Surely there must be many other ways of proving identity? After all, you have all the info available about the driver, what about state pensions, military pensions, civil service pensions, council tax bills, HMRC (THEYknow everything)

@DVLAgovuk BUT only if you have a passport for ID purposes. This is despite DVLA knowing all they need to know about you. Moreover, put the passport fact at start of application so save people wading through and finding out at end of procedure.
