I’m up predawn, most mornings, to go to the gym. Often, I hear this funny noise coming from the woods out back. So glad I know what it is!

Our backyard-alive with birdsong-is part of the migration corridor for European Starlings, an invasive species that began to flourish in 1890 when released in Central Park to populate America with birds that appeared in Shakespeare's writing. #shakespeare#alfredhitchcock
#AWP23 brought me closer to amazing fellow writers; gave me loads of helpful tips; introduced me to deeply moving and, often, funny new books; and offered up this beloved skyline. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #writingcommunity#Seattle#toobusytotweet
My flash fiction is in good company in this issue of MoonPark Review. It was a pleasure to work with the editors, Mary Lynn and Lesley, who created the original artwork that goes along with the story. They've curated something very special here, and I'm proud to be a part of it!
I (37 m) don't want my wife having her blind friend over for dinner. They've sent voice recordings back and forth for years, even after we got married! Now he's supposed to come over, and I feel threatened, not to mention worried we'll share an epiphanic moment of intimacy. AITA?

At the @mfaboston, there’s an interactive wall where you can pin up your own illustrated concept of the “Sanctuary in our Homes”. I was admiring all the sweet amateur drawings and then…*drops jaw*…I came upon this one. #artist#drawing#talent#finearts
*cue spooky music* — The morning after Halloween, the horror continues. My words are live… but what of the undead of this flash? https://t.co/iXi5abTwR2 #WritingCommunity#amwriting#amediting

Recently had family visiting from afar. One of the best moments of our time together was when I told them I just got a story accepted by @MoonParkReview and they gathered around, asking for me to read it. Even better, we celebrated with a dance to one of my favorite songs!
