We did LIVE, on camera Easter eggs decorating session! I followed students’ instructions while choosing colours, lines, and patterns. We discussed zigzag, waved, spiralling lines & all kinds of patterns. Many learning opportunities!

We mailed 26 postcards to our virtual students today. Some of them we never met, although we seem to know them so well! Some live in another city, and a few we taught last year. We celebrate B-days together, a lost tooth, go on scavenger hunts &observe hibernating bears #Virtual

My virtual classroom setup includes an old monitor to extend the laptop screen, so I can see all of the 28 students while screen-sharing. This allows for as much human contact as possible! I can see expressions# on their faces!#onlineteaching #virtualclassroom #homeoffice

The highlight of my day was when I found this unexpected gift of home baked 🎄 cookies on my desk... a gift from a former student of mine.
I only interact with students virtually now, so this physical gift touched my heart ❤️ and soul 🙏#Christmas2020
