James West was the inspiration for science club as part of #BlackHistoryMonthUK. We made microphones using plastic cups and graphite. Such an amazing feeling when you see and hear a recording of your voice. @DownendschNews@lisaj_howell
The tallest lighthouse STEM challenge accepted at science club today. Lots of problem fixing and teamwork skills as well as fun! @DownendschNews@lisaj_howell
Tomorrow, an incredibly rare, once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event is happening! Jupiter will be its closest to Earth since 1963! Along with opposition, itโll be SO bright, youโll be able to see its bands and some moons just with binoculars!
This wonโt happen again until 2129!
