Crews will be closing Paramount Blvd, underneath I-5,in the city of Downey, for 55 hours this weekend (5/14-5/20) for an SB-1 funded project to repair bridge decks. One lane of NB I-5 & the NB I-5 on-ramp will be closed as well. See 👇for alternate routes!

Graveyard shift officer stopped a vehicle for a CVC violation. The officer located 3 catalytic converters, cutting tools, bear spray, and a jack stand. 3 suspects-from LA, were arrested and their vehicle was impounded. Unfortunately no identifiable markings on the convertor.

Today’s Travis Scott appearance at McDonald’s was neither approved nor permitted by the City of Downey. DPD units were dispatched in response to a large crowd gathered and focused on traffic and pedestrian safety concerns until the crowd dispersed. No injuries were reported.
