Downloader has been removed from Google Play! Please help!

[AFTVnews @AFTVnews]

I need your help! My Downloader app has been wrongly removed from @GooglePlay Store due to an absurd DMCA takedown from Israel TV @yescoil that claims because the web browser in the app can load a specific website with their infringed content that my app is violating copyright.

Google finally approved the update so Downloader v1.4.3 with the GitHub fix is now available for both Fire TV and Android/Google TV devices. Bonus: Android/Google TV version now has the browser included by default, just like on Fire TV! No need for the browser plugin anymore.

GitHub made a change which is causing downloads from there to fail in the Downloader app with a "URL needs authorization” error message. I’ve updated Downloader to v1.4.3 with a fix and submitted it to Amazon already. I’m just waiting for Amazon to approve and publish the update.

Downloader v1.4.3 with the “URL needs authorization” error fixed for GitHub downloads is now live in the Amazon Appstore. (Still waiting for Google Play Store to approve it for Android/Google TV.) Fire TVs should auto update or you can force it like this: https://t.co/bESa2OrH3o
