Golf in Chicago has become extremely expensive over the last few years. Found a cool website that tracks prices for peak times. My thoughts below
Must Plays for Best Value:
Highlands of Elgin
Prairie Landing
Sunset Valley
George Dunne
High Price but Worth it:
Glen Club
Mistwood
Thunderhawk
Cog Hill Dubsdread - play at non peak time
Harborside Port/Starboard - play at non peak time
Extremely Overpriced, don’t pay:
Bolingbrook - thanks LIV
Preserve Oak Meadows - $57 increase in 3 years!?
Cantigny - nice but way too high
Ruffled Feathers - absolutely not

DON’T FORGET: During the Biden-Harris administration — Congress had a BIPARTISAN bill that would’ve made the biggest increase in border security in decades — but, at the last minute, every Republican decided to vote no because a private citizen told them to.
His name was Donald J. Trump.
The 2024 bipartisan border bill — backed by Biden & Harris — was a $118 billion emergency package aimed at strengthening border security, reducing asylum backlogs, and capping daily migrant crossings.
It allowed — or, rather, mandated — DHS to close the border to most migrants if daily encounters averaged more than 4,000–5,000 per week.
It also significantly tightened asylum eligibility standards and expedited processing times — aiming to decide cases in months rather than years.
The package would’ve provided $20 billion for border initiatives — including new asylum officers, 100+ immigration judges, and increased detention capacity.
It had UNANIMOUS support and was about to be passed… until Trump threw a fit, didn’t want to give Biden a “win,” and threatened Republicans into voting “no.”
MAGA would rather run on a problem than fix it.
THE GREATEST COMMERCIAL OF ALL TIME.

North Berwick Golf Club
#25 World Top 100
1832 - Old Tom Morris, Strath, Sayers
$425 USD
I’ve been blessed to walk most of the great golf courses of the world.
I’d put North Berwick with places like Cypress Point, Royal Melbourne, Augusta National, Tara Iti, and The Old Course as the best walks in golf.
Is it the best 18 holes? No. It starts off with 2 world class golf holes. But then enters of a stretch of very good golf holes. Inland, fun golf holes, but not holes you will write home about.
But as you make the turn, things change. Hole 9 brings you to the sea. And then things just get crazy.
It’s just hole after hole that you will never forget. Not a single sleeper and a bunch of the most interesting golf holes in the world.
Bass, Pit, Perfection, Redan, Gate (The Biarritz), Point Garry, Home. You won’t find a better stretch of golf on the planet and you won’t find a more beautiful stretch. Cypress may have the biggest climax, but sustained beauty here at a level unmatched.
Are the views a factor? Of course. The views of Bass Rock are amazing as are the views of Treasure Island. It all adds to the day.
The walk itself is delightful. It’s an easy walk and the place is so charming, honestly you feel 20 lbs lighter than normal. You walk on air here.
The course has Old Tom’s name on it, but like most classic Scottish courses, it’s a course built by nature, time, and evolution. Many have lent their design skill as it has evolved from 6 holes to 18. Most recently Clyde Johnson did great work and soon Gil Hanse will add his own touch.
I adore North Berwick. One of my favorite places on the planet and one that all golfers should strive to visit.
“The Pit”
The famous 13th hole at North Berwick is simply one of the most unique golf holes in the world.
An old stone wall intersects the golf hole, leading to some of the most fun golf shots you will have. It’s a hazard you just don’t ever see.
It doesn’t hurt that it sits right on the sea and it’s as beautiful as it gets.
The ending stretch at North Berwick is my favorite in the world.
One billionaire family controls the bridge that carries 25% of all U.S.–Canada trade.
The good news? There's a brand new public bridge right next door (and Canada paid for the whole thing).
The bad news? Donald Trump won't let it open.
Here's the story:
For more than a decade, Michigan and Canada worked together to build a new public crossing right next to it — six lanes over the Detroit River, named for a Canadian-born Red Wings legend, built by thousands of union workers. Canada paid the entire bill. Michigan co-owns it. It's finished. It’s a shining example of international cooperation and collaboration, with a tremendous return for both sides: more jobs, faster trade, and lower costs.
So why isn't it open?
Because the Moroun family, who own the rival Ambassador Bridge just up the river, doesn’t want the competition. They spent years and tens of millions of dollars trying to stop any competing international crossing from being built or opening. They lost. So they went to the White House instead.
In January, Matthew Moroun gave $1 million to a pro-Trump super PAC. Then the billionaire called Trump's Commerce Secretary and, just hours later, Trump suddenly attacked the same publicly owned bridge he praised in his own first term and threatened to block it.
Then, the day before the June 12th ribbon-cutting, the opening was called off indefinitely.
It's corruption so flagrant it would be laughable if it weren't so damaging.
Trump is screwing over Michiganders for the interests of billionaires — holding a finished, publicly owned project hostage to protect one donor's toll booth.
So a finished bridge sits closed, Michiganders keep paying the higher tolls, cars and trucks cost more, and a billionaire family keeps its monopoly.
Mr. President: stop playing games. Open the damn bridge.
This isn’t a legal document.
It’s a PR document that in parts contradicts how the legal document reveals how the fund will actually operate.
Some examples 🧵⬇️
I can't believe we are still doing this.
Underage voters: This is flatly false. Georgia's Secretary of State investigated this claim by comparing the full list of people who voted against their birthdays. The audit revealed there were zero underage voters in the 2020 election. Raffensperger stated directly: "They said there were 66,000 underage voters. There were zero."
Dead voters: Vastly overstated. State officials investigated this and found a total of two instances of a deceased person's name being used to cast a ballot. "Usually, that's somebody who died recently, and a family member votes with [the name]," a state official noted, adding that such a handful of cases is consistent with every election.
Felons illegally voting: Significantly exaggerated. The Trump campaign alleged 2,056 felons voted illegally. Georgia officials said they were investigating a total of 74 potential felons who may have cast ballots. When Georgia's State Election Board referred cases for prosecution, among them were just four incidents of felons voting or registering to vote in the 2020 general election.
2,423 not registered to vote: Also false. Raffensperger specifically addressed this: "They said that there were 2,423 non-registered voters. There were zero."
1,043 voted via PO box: This claim conflates voter registration addresses with actual fraud. Having a P.O. box associated with a registration record is not itself illegal, and investigators found no evidence of fraudulent voting tied to P.O. boxes. A state audit examining this issue found no proof of fraudulent ballots.
4,926 voted after registration: This claim has also been investigated and found to be based on data mismatches — primarily clerical errors in dates, data entry issues, or voters who were already on the rolls and whose records were updated after the election. No credible evidence of people actually voting before being registered was found.
395 voted multiple states: This claim was based on matching names and partial data across state lines — a notoriously unreliable method that generates false positives. Investigators found no substantiated cases of double-voting that would have affected the outcome.
40,279 voted after moving counties: This one has the most merit and actually is the hardest to part, but it's largely a misunderstanding of the law. Georgia election officials have repeatedly said they found no credible examples of election fraud related to address changes. Critically, federal law is directly relevant here: the National Voter Registration Act explicitly states that a state cannot remove a voter from the rolls on the ground that they changed residence unless the registrant confirms in writing that they moved outside the jurisdiction. In other words, voters who have moved but haven't updated their registration are often still legally entitled to cast a ballot in their former jurisdiction under federal law.
Sworn affidavits: Yes, they exist. Affidavits allege but do not prove. The point of an affidavit is for a court to review it. Courts reviewed these extensively. Trump's legal team's challenges were repeatedly rejected in court, with one judge writing that plaintiffs presented "strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations... unsupported by evidence."
So, yes, cool list. All B.S. Also, btw, all super old (we knew most of this 4-6 years ago).
Clip 1: RFK JR cites a study.
Clip 2: RFK JR cites another study.
Clip 3: Cassidy finds the first study and suggests the study contradicts RFK JR’s claim.
Clip 4: Cassidy finds the second study and points out the study was published before the vaccine came out.
I'll tell you what, Dinesh. Even if you had 400 kilos of 90% U-235 and a box of matches, the length of time it would take you to make a nuke is NEVER.
The fact is, 60% enriched uranium like the Iranians had isn't even 10% of the way to a bomb. The rest--- engineering, machining, fabrication and assembly of the watch-like innards of a nuclear implosion bomb---is the real hard part. And even that ignores the fact that no one in their right mind---even the mullahs---would attempt to launch against the USA a beginners bomb that had never been tested and which no Iranian missile could carry for the 10,000 kilometer trip to the US in any event. And that's to say nothing of reentering the atmosphere successfully under blistering heat and percussion. In short, Iran's possession of 10 bombs worth of HEUs was not remotely an imminent threat, and that's according to the repeated attestations of the 17 US intelligence agencies, including DNI Tulsi Gabbard's testimony to Congress in March 2025. So what in the hell are you gumming about in year pathetic, self-evidently barking ignorance?
During talks between U.S. and Iranian delegations in Pakistan, the topic of Ukraine unexpectedly came up.
While discussing U.S. guarantees in the event that Iran halts uranium enrichment and abandons the development of nuclear weapons, the Iranian side asked how the United States is fulfilling the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which it pledged to respect and protect Ukraine’s sovereignty.
The U.S. delegation left the question unanswered.
So, @joerogan probably won’t see this post that’s going viral on Facebook. It’s too long to copy & paste, & it took way more than 4 screenshots
But I think it’s essential reading for everyone, because ALL of the lying MAGA Influencers need to face legal consequences /1
I am a Web3 Ambassador at World Liberty Financial.
There are 12 of us on the team page. 4 are named Trump. 3 are named Witkoff. The page calls us "the passionate minds shaping the future of finance."
600,000 wallets bought our memecoin. They lost $3.87 billion. The family collected $350 million in trading fees. It launched 3 days before the inauguration. 80% of the supply went to CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC. I did not choose the names. I designed the allocation, the vesting, the timing, and the distance between the product and the President.
The distance is my best work.
I am the reason these events are unrelated.
World Liberty Financial sends 75 cents of every dollar to DT Marks DEFI LLC. That is the family entity. Zero capital contributed. Zero liability assumed. I wrote this into the Gold Paper. Page 14. The lawyers bound it in white leather. The binding cost more than the due diligence.
Justin Sun invested $75 million. He was facing SEC fraud charges. The SEC dropped the case. He is now our advisor. These events are unrelated.
Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to federal money laundering violations. He received a presidential pardon. The SEC dropped its lawsuit against his exchange the same week we listed our stablecoin. Then the exchange settled a $2 billion deal entirely in that stablecoin. These events are unrelated.
Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed of BitMEX pleaded guilty to Bank Secrecy Act violations. All 3 received presidential pardons. Then the company itself was pardoned. $100 million in fines. Gone. An American first. These events are unrelated.
Sheikh Tahnoun of Abu Dhabi paid $500 million for a 49% stake that was never publicly disclosed. Then the administration approved semiconductor exports to his companies over national security objections. These events are unrelated.
Everything is unrelated. I track the unrelatedness on a dashboard I built. The dashboard has 7 columns now. I am proud of the dashboard.
On May 22nd, 220 people paid a combined $148 million to eat dinner with the America First president. Over half were foreign nationals. Justin Sun paid $18.5 million for the first seat. He visited the Executive Office Building the day before. I designed the seating chart. I put it on the Investor Confidence page. That page is doing well.
The team page lists 3 Witkoffs. All 3 are Co-Founders.
Steven Witkoff is the President's Middle East envoy. He testified as a character witness at the President's fraud trial.
His son Zach runs the crypto operation. His son Alex is also a Co-Founder. I have not been told what Alex co-founded.
The father runs the diplomacy. The sons run the platform. The family runs both. That is organizational efficiency.
Barron is 19. His title is Web3 Ambassador. The same as mine. Donald Jr. called the conflicts of interest "complete nonsense." Eric launched a Bitcoin mining company called American Bitcoin. America First. The mining partner is Hut 8. Hut 8 was founded in Canada. America First means the name.
On March 6th, the President signed Executive Order 14233 creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. The order directs the government to hold Bitcoin. The President's family holds billions in Bitcoin. The executive order appreciates the President's assets by presidential decree. I did not write the executive order. I made sure it looked unrelated to the portfolio.
Trump Media put $2 billion of Bitcoin on its balance sheet. The ticker symbol is DJT. His initials. The press secretary said it is absurd to insinuate the President profits off the presidency. Forbes calculated his crypto holdings exceed the combined value of Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower. I would call that absurd too. That is my job.
600,000 wallets bought in. 1 of them asked why she could not withdraw her funds. I told her the protocol was experiencing dynamic market conditions. She asked what that meant. I sent her the Gold Paper. She said she had read the Gold Paper. I muted her channel. Dynamic means the conditions change. The condition that changed was her access.
A congressman called us the world's most corrupt crypto startup operation. We put it on a coffee mug. Ironic merchandise. $45. The revenue split on the mug is also 75/25.
My own tokens vest on a different schedule. I wrote that schedule. That is not in the Gold Paper.
The memecoin funds the family. The family funds the platform. The platform funds the stablecoin. The stablecoin funds the deals. The deals require the pardons. The pardons free the partners. The partners fund the platform. The President signs the executive orders. The executive orders inflate the assets. The assets fund the family.
I am the reason these events are unrelated.
