@XlllArcana Oh?

[𝓛𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝓛𝐀𝐊𝐄. @Dozmarys]

❝Indeed it has, Morgana le Fae, my other half. I wonder . . . What have you been up to as of late?❞

[ᛗᛟᚱᚷᚨᚾ @ROADLESSUTOPIA]

“Vivian.

It has been long.”

[𝓛𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝓛𝐀𝐊𝐄. @Dozmarys]

Ah-

A coincidence indeed . . .

[ᛗᛟᚱᚷᚨᚾ @ROADLESSUTOPIA]

Coincidence.

She senses it too.

[𝓛𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝓛𝐀𝐊𝐄. @Dozmarys]

Hm? The presence of her other half is near . . . 💭

❝An interesting answer. As expected of my other self. Now . . . How do you do?❞

[ᛗᛟᚱᚷᚨᚾ @ROADLESSUTOPIA]

“A foolish question. If I wasn’t prepared to look at myself, then I wouldn’t be me.”

❝It's okay, sweet child of mine . . . ❞ She says in a gentle whisper.

Despite all the events that have ensued.

Despite everything . . .

He was still her darling child. And nothing could change that.

❝I'm still your mother after all, Lancelot . . . ❞

[Lancelot Du Lac @MizumiNoBasaka]

"...!!"

This... this was...

He had his back turned to her, a groan mixed in with that raspy voice. Ragged breathing as he was just glad she didn't accidentally impale herself on one of his many spikes.

"... Mother... please... don't..."

But instead of being frightened of his state, she does the opposite.

Vivian embraces the knight in black. Her child.

❝You've returned to me, my child . . . ❞

[𝓛𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝓛𝐀𝐊𝐄. @Dozmarys]

❝ . . . 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘁.❞ The name left her lips unconsciously.

There was no mistaking it. Even in this state, how could she not recognize his voice?

[Lancelot Du Lac @MizumiNoBasaka]

"... Why... are you... here...?"

Strained, raspy voice, coming from within that armor. Having to hold back his own madness...

And his sadness... for the fact his own mother was now gazing at this utter failure of a knight.
