@ed_ned Yeah that's what I was gonna do. The face in the video was drawn in blender! It became quite a daunting idea to animate the face by hand.. but yeah Max G usually uses a very efficient 2D rig for his faces it seems, so it might help ease the workload if I can figure that out!

@Chester_Sampson@animoumou Ye this^ :) I try to think of it as caricaturing movement. If anim looks like rotoscoped reference footage then there's no point animating in the first place tbh, just mo-cap it haha. Exaggerating the ref in the right places (like caricature) is what makes anim fun to watch imo
@animoumou Yea every shot is different so starting a new one always gives me imposter syndrome. Powering through it feels great in the end though:)
