Professor Klaus Dieter Thoben and Professor Walter Lang from University of Bremen conducted accreditation simulation for the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering programme and Bachelor of Information Technology programme at Royal University of Bhutan (RUB).

Professors Klaus Dieter Thoben and Walter Lang from University of Bremen led a seminar on the Evolution of standard of European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) for European Universities, Bologna Convention, and the significance of internationalisation in HE institutions.
Professor Walter Lang from University of Bremen facilitated the “Micro Sensor Technology” seminar which was held on 3rd to 5th October 2023 at Royal University of Bhutan. It was attended by Engineering students along with interested faculty members.

The training for day 3 was conducted at the Evacuee Trust building campus Islamabad. Dr. Saad Naeem Zafar gave a briefing about the activities being carried out at Riphah Institute of Systems Engineering (RISE) which include industrial collaboration, trainings, consultancy and research. The faculty members had interactive session with Dr. Tobias about higher education practices in German universities. Later on, Dr. Tobias delivered talk on Industry 4.0- Applied Robotics and the pros and cons of applying Artificial Intelligence to model predictive control.
The training sessions for day 2 were conducted at the Gulberg Greens campus Islamabad. The Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) Riphah International University Dr. Fawad Sadiq gave a briefing about the activities performed by QEC to ensure internal quality, general compliance mechanism of regulators in Pakistan and the steps taken to enhance the ranking at international level. The faculty members had interactive session with Dr. Tobias about higher education practices in German universities. Later on, Dr. Tobias delivered talk to students about pursuing education in German/European universities. The students asked various questions about all aspects on how to live and study in Germany. The last session was on Industry 4.0- Applied Robotics.
The first day of the EU Erasmus + SSAPI project Training by Dr. Tobias Sprowdosky from the University of Bremen at Riphah International University I-14 Campus. Meeting with the respected Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anis Ahmed, Interaction with Faculty, Interaction with Students, Hands-on Session with Faculty.
In the afternoon another interactive session on “Interaction with Research Groups” focusing on Discussion and Exploring Collaboration Possibilities” was held, where 23 research group members participated in this interactive session. #SSAPI#Erasmus+

A session on “Experience Sharing in E-learning (ZMML)” was held at CUST by Prof. Tobias, where 22 faculty members from different departments participated. #SSAPI#Erasmus+
Twelve faculty members from various departments of CUST participated in Prof. Tobias’ workshop on “Project/Production Planning and Control”. Mr. Fida Hussain, Director QEC, presented the activities of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) in this Workshop. #SSAPI#Erasmus+
