Basics : Everyone knows we have a platform called @KaitoAI that tracks our social attention to reward us.

You just need to connect your X account on the Kaito website and submit your wallet.

You're good to go but this is just the beginning

Here's the real game ⤵️

Kaito has a two-point system :

1. Yaps
2. Yapper Mindshare

• Yap points are distributed for crypto discussion : reputation-weighted engagement.

If your post receives a reply from a reputed account or you reply to a reputed profile and start a discussion on a popular topic > you will get a yap.

But who is reputed ?
What are the criteria for a reputed profile ?

When Kaito first launched : it coined the term "Smart Followers "

Smart Followers are people with a higher inter-following ratio within the CT social graph.

Unfortunately, there is no clear definition but generally people with 400 to 500 Smart Followers receive the Inner Circle CT badge and can be considered smart followers.

So to earn yaps > focus on content that sparks discussion or attracts smart follower accounts to interact with your posts.

• Mindshare is the percentage of your contribution to a project's overall discussion.

If a project gains 10% mindshare overall in crypto then your mindshare is the percentage you contributed to that 10%.

It is comparatively easier to earn than yaps.

• How to get mindshare ?

- Select two to three projects.
- Create targeted posts focused on your selected projects.
- Do not just post random updates.
- Your posts should be good enough to start a discussion in the comments.
- Comments matter more than likes or impressions.
- Engage with project team accounts (founder /developer /marketing personnel etc.)

• Which timeframe leaderboard is best ?
(7 days/30 days/3 months/6 months)

Projects usually reward based on 30 days (monthly) but this depends on project announcements.

So always check the project for their reward timeframe.

The leaderboard is based on a rolling time window : a 7-day leaderboard shows your last 7 days' contribution.

Do not stop contributing after achieving a high ranking as others can surpass you.

• How to select projects ?

This is an individual decision.

If you need USDC rewards then focus on post-TGE projects with confirmed rewards.

If you need token allocation, pre-TGE projects are better.

Consider these things for any project before selecting :

- The campaign's time period.
- The number of rewarded participants (top 50 or top 100).
- The level of competition (check mindshare and top 30 yappers' smart followers)
- Whether rewards are confirmed of not !

If you ask me then select projects you use or participated in their airdrops as you already understand their goals and can create authentic posts.

• What to post ?

Anything about the project : the goal is to start a conversation in the comments :

- Tech reviews
- Your opinions
- Their vision
- Product reviews
- Updates
- Memes or videos related to the project

You can get all the information on Project X's handle and their website/docs.

• My Blueprint For You :

- Select two projects
- Follow every member of their team
- Go to the Kaito leaderboard for that project
- Make a list of the top 50 yappers in 30 days.
- Turn on their notifications.
- See what kind of content they post : learn and implement it.
- Engage with them and try to get a follow back + start discussions in the comment section.
- Join project X community like we've Kaito Yappers community in which I am posting this : same way join project community

Note: Every project on Kaito has data specifying the desired content that's why Kaito does not decide your mindshare but the listed project does.

Some projects may only consider quality posts and others may consider shitposts or tagging and commenting

Adapt things accordingly.
