Saint Theory 🧵

I’ve been holding onto this theory for a very long time because I wanted to pour all of my heart and brain cells into it, and SAINT’s anniversary feels like the right time to finally share it. It’s been quietly growing inside me since the first time I watched the MV. So, here’s my contribution.

This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed biblical symbolism woven into DPR’s lore. The moment Ian stakes the sword into the ground immediately evoked the story of Moses parting the sea, not through visual parallels, but through shared themes: faith over fear, surrender to a higher will, transformation, and walking a path meant only for you.

I was really shocked when I heard the remix of "Mood" especially with that "What’s your color now?" because this phrase is a metaphor in Arabic. In some Arab countries, we literally say "Shlonak" which means "What’s your color now?" referring to someone’s mood, even though on the surface it just means "How are you?" And this isn’t the first time . The other one is from "Winterfall" and I still can’t stop thinking about it when he says, "no god in me." Here, that phrase is really heavy because in this region it is blasphemy. You don’t say that unless you’ve lost your faith in God during a tragic moment when everything falls apart. But I don’t know where Ian got this from, so maybe he’s secretly just taking a course in our language lol 🙊🙈

@scaredy_cat44 Yk the drums in it kinda sounds like the ones in the song he plays at the end of the show, if you listen carefully it kinda had the same drums rhythm. So who knows it could be the same one, specifically with how he switches the songs completely.

Dina, Beauty of God, Archangel of Love and Beauty, Most Beautiful Archangel of all Worlds, Angel of Knowledge and Wisdom. and is one of the only Archangels consistently portrayed as female, 

Jophiel is associated with the number 3, the color yellow-gold 👀 she is depicted holding a flaming sword, referencing to her role as one of the Archangels who escorted Adam and Eve out of Eden 👀

There are hints that she was the mentor of Mulciber, the blacksmith of Hell and builder of the pandemonium 👀 was the sword in the chained glass container that she was watching over forged under her command? 👀 🤔
She is responsible for constructing the weapons and armor the angels need for their jobs 👀

Jophiel is mainly seen with her partner, the archangel of lightning and thunder, Barachiel 👀👀👀👀

Similar to Aphrodite, Venus and many other entities of love and fertility, Jophiel is more better at seduction 👀👀 (manipulation👀) than fighting to the point that she absolutely hates violence and is more interested in love, beauty. Although she hates violence, her power is considered to be utterly fearsome as it's that which no angel, lesser than a seraph, could ever hope to overcome or even equal 👀👀

Jophiel possesses the highest level of charm. She's able to sway any sentient being she comes across to completely agree with her. From groups to Races, feeble mortals to the most stagnant divinity of entities, they cannot simply say 'no' to Jophiel (even the Hybrid? 🤔). Her charisma is so high that even beings with immense willpower give in to Jophiel's persuasiveness. Anything about her personality, presence, as well as seductiveness is absolutely perfect. Jophiel's mere presence is enough to make heads turn. She also has an overwhelmingly calming presence, which induces powerful feelings of tranquility in others.

Lastly, take everything with a pinch of salt as these are different perspectives. I just wanted to elaborate on an old post of mine (in the rest of the slides & stories) 🧵
