A biophysical analysis of radiofrequency ablation for VT. How does generator impedance, Ablation Index and endocardial scar interact? From @jaccjournals@DrWUllah_EP@johnpaisey@DrArthurYue https://t.co/rvbh0Rf1eO
Two days to go. @DrAlexBates and @Prof_Schilling address RF lesion formation and AF-induced cardiomyopathy in the opening session of the new #AERJournal × @BHRSociety webinar series.

I'd be really interested in reading your protocol, please let me know if you'd be willing to share.
Congratulations on starting up AIM VT

@EladAnter@hhuang123 I hope this will help us take a step towards a standardised VT ablation workflow, akin to AF.
You may have seen our study which compared AI to impedance drop. It interesting agrees closely with @EladAnter and your data in that 700-800 is the time when impedance plateaus.
@DrMarkMills Wessex has three centres without cardiac surgery on site. Bournemouth and Portsmouth have been running for >10 years, in fact Bournemouth may be approaching 20. Basingstoke recently started up also.
Do you want to receive hands-on training on all aspects of different device and #EPAblation therapy? Then the @BHRSociety's Hands-on Simulator Training Day is where you want to be!

On biophysical analysis, #ablation beyond an ablation index (AI) of 763 & FTI of 713 gs offers minimal additional efficacy on average.
🔸 Fibrosis blunts ablation efficacy
🔸 AI is a stronger correlate with impedance drop than FTI

Dr Andrew Flett discussing the BRITISH trial at BHRS Symposium. This vital trial will investigate whether the presence of ventricular scar on MRI is an indication for an ICD in patients with non ischaemic cardiomyopathy and reduced ejection fraction.
@viseshsankaran @StanimirrS Hmmm, clearly tubocurarine is your nicotinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist of choice...
I think you might need to get your flash cards out.
