Very pleased that @DrAmandaMoon is delivering her "maths & medicine" @Ri_Science #RiMasterclass to Faraday group of y5 mathematicians. They're ordering the amount of medicine by mass, using new found knowledge of milli, micro, nano & pico grams. More pharmacists in the making!

I thoroughly enjoyed presenting ‘Medicine, Accuracy and Pharmacy at today’s @Ri_Science #Masterclass @HTPDSchool A super group of children investigated scientific notation, therapeutic doses, estimating, and then used Triangle Numbers to count tablets for a prescription.

A group of our Yr5 children had a go at this intriguing @nrichmaths puzzle. It was superb listening to them discuss how they would start to work out of the value of the '?' Looking forward to tackling more Open Problems in the future @HTPDSchool

A great penultimate @Ri_Science #RiMasterclass in Guildford today. We learnt about the development of number systems, working in different bases and a really good look at binary and it’s many applications. Another fantastic session. @HTPDSchool

At @HTPDSchool we are ready for #RedNoseDay in many ways! Our super Times Tables Rockstars Challenge is to try and get 50000 coins for a red nose for your Avatar. Times tables fun and fundraising at the same time. Better start saving. .@TTRockStars

We have loved our first week of @TTRockStars All of the children and staff have Rock Names and have been busy playing in the Garage and the Studio. We are looking forward to seeing who will the ‘Star of the Week’ for each year ! @HTPDSchool

Guildford’s second @Ri_Science Maths Masterclass @HTPDSchool was a fantastic mathematical exploration of the Solar System, including handling meteorites that are 4.5 billion years old. It was amazing!
