Looks like the port might be operational now - Stena Estrid has left the berth (but is moored in the port still) while WB Yeats is now on berth having spent the afternoon offering sightseeing along the Gwynedd coastline
Hopefully this closure is little more than precautionary but given there's already a berth not operating, this is a concern for Irish Sea freight and passengers.
At the moment, the WB Yeats seems to be waiting south of Anglesey rather than going to back to Dublin or elsewhere
+ Port of Holyhead is currently closed +
Reports that the port is closed after a 'berthing incident' involving the Stena Estrid earlier. The company said all passengers and freight operators "disembarked as normal".
"Holyhead Port is temporarily closed and ferry operators are notifying customers."

🎄If Network Rail did Christmas adverts...this would be ours!
Just outside Cardiff, a rail freight terminal is helping to deliver Christmas across Wales and Borders.
🎁Every December, around 250,000 tonnes of festive food, drink and goods move through Wentloog, heading for supermarket shelves – and eventually homes – in time for Christmas.
We’ve teamed up with @Freightliner to take you behind the scenes, celebrating the vital role rail freight plays in keeping goods moving, supporting the economy and delivering a greener Christmas.
From all of us at Network Rail Wales and Borders and Freightliner – have a Merry Freightmas and a Track-tacular New Year!

Fascinating @ciltuk visit to Freightliner's terminal at Wentloog today. A critical part of supply chains across South Wales and further afield, and across a wide range of products (including bagged wine in containers).

Playing around with CoPilot tonight, I asked it to draw me a simplified schematic map of @tfwrail services, highlighting Cardiff routes. This was what it came up with🤣.
Back from a week in Gran Canaria and, while there, sampled the @guaguasglobal services. Impressed by the quality of service. Here's the busy terminus at Faro de Maspalomas.
