@re_scav I lost my original account a few years ago (for no reason) and had to start over. I tried all old user names and passwords, but what I saw on my newer phone yesterday bore no resemblance to any earlier ones. So I'm going through manually to add access I followed.

Twitter is working on my computer as well, so I suspect it never signs out on my old phone or computer, but somehow does on my newer phone (which I have had for six months). That doesn't explain how it changed the profile and numbers of followed/followers, though.

What is happening with Twitter login people out today? It's been logging me out back and forth. I know I'm not the only one that's been experiencing this. It's a mass twitter problem. I hope it's resolved soon.

BREAKING: Twitter desktop appears to be logging users out and not permitting them to log back in. Twitter for mobile is working.

The problem also seems to be related to the suspicious login prevention mechanism.

I have confirmed that this problem is widespread at least across the United Stares. Stay tuned for further updates!
