We are a country that emphasizes, damn near FETISHIZES sports and the culture surrounding them. Though 99% of us will never play at a professional level, it is a part of our regional culture and participation is a way where competition and rivalry result in improvement.

We love exceptional athleticism but also emphasize fairness. I don't know how to best assess the circumstances for any given sport or age...but don't take away their ability to play.
