Are you comfortable with giving Elon Musk or others your social security number, other government info, or letting them use AI recognition facial scans of you JUST SO YOU CAN HAVE A SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT??

I was raised in a house where rules were rules — not options to consider following. Parents have to parent. We CANNOT keep GROWING government to replace parents and their jobs as parents, especially at the expense of citizen liberties and privacy.

The state shouldn’t trample on adult liberties or put you at risk because some parents CHOOSE to give their kids iPhones or let them use social media without monitoring what the kid does online.

You can buy a firearm in S.C. without giving your SSN or scanning your face to confirm you are who you are, you shouldn’t have to do that for a damn Facebook page either.

There has to be balance. While intentions are wholly admirable, this legislation lacks that, and that’s why I am preparing an amendment to try and strike a balance between free enterprise, not growing government, and the state not replacing a parents’ personal responsibilities on taxpayers’ backs.

Rep. John McCravy says he’s ending abortion being used as birth control. That’s insulting and condescending. Birth control fails. Some can’t afford birth control or know that they would be raped and need it. Birth control prevents pregnancy. Abortion ends pregnancy.
