Financial problems can feel endless, but Dr. Christal Johnson is working to provide solutions for her community.

Johnson, a financial consultant and former college professor, held a lunch and learn Tuesday to educate Kansas City seniors on financial literacy.

"I feel more relieved now because I received that information personally, and it seemed like it was really talking to me," said Marion Goodloe, who attended the presentation.
