$SPY didn't only gap way above the 200sma but also above the 50sma. This is why I was very cautious being bearish as there was a perfect storm for a massive squeeze from positioning, sentiment, and oversold indicators.

I still would be patient trying to fade this move. Most gap ups exceeding 2% can take 1-2 weeks before offering a better tactical short opportunity.
