This girl, Chizoba, just graduated from Mechatronics at Nile University with a CGPA of 4.96.
She will be with us for the next 4 weeks teaching our children hardcore Robotics and AI. All practicals.
Her final-year project was constructing and programming a 3D printer from scratch. She also built unique technology that converts waste water bottles into 3D printing filaments.
These next 4 weeks are going to be on fire. Our children will also build drones from the ground up.
We selected the top 40 South East Maths Olympiad Winners from Enugu to participate in this program.
@Ofochebe@ah_bee_girl@_deoluwaa It happens a lot. Like a lot. Also,if drugs expire in the hospital, the loss is to the hospital because they cant make money from it. But on the other side, it brings more money if the drugs are dispensed to patients even the 3rd group. So, you see, it is not all about the money.
@KDbaby_ See ehn...this HMO thing is not like that. Say paracetamol. The buying price might be 95 naira.
The hospital has to agree on a price with the HMO say 120
One HMO may insist on 100n while another will work with that 120
But this is sha not the bone of contention now
@106_36_52 3rd group:
No diagnosis, but they want drugs. HMO works with diagnoses. The doctor has to formulate one just to prescribe drugs that are not relevant now.
Do I support his tweet? HMO workers and other healthcare workers might get the joke.
The patient/client might not.
@106_36_52 From his POV:
3 kinds of HMO patients:
1. Genuinely sick, whether seriously or mildly.
2. Seeking health advice.
3. Neither 1 nor 2—just wants to collect drugs so their money WILL NOT WASTE
He was referring to the 3rd group.
@Harrybond__007@106_36_52 Permit me to copy/paste this my reply. I hope it makes sense to you.
A patient either has symptoms or is seeking health advice. But there is a third category: they have no symptoms and are not seeking health advice. They just want to collect drugs because "it is their money."
@ah_bee_girl@_deoluwaa Abigail, a patient either has symptoms or is seeking health advice. But there is a third category: they have no symptoms and are not seeking health advice. They just want to collect drugs because "it is their money."
In 2024, I ran an experiment in Apa-Agatu in Benue State.
I supported some village children there with Nelson Apochi to help them prepare for JAMB using Educare and teaching support. They all did well and are excelling today.
This boy, Oyishima Daniel Adewebo, was one of them. He scored 290 in JAMB and is currently studying Medicine and Surgery at the University of Abuja.
He just shared his first-year result, and he got all A’s.
It was my riskiest intervention because, at the time, over 500 people had been murdered in the community by herdsmen.
We have lots of hidden talents in villages that we need to discover and help shine.
Dr Vwaere Diaso died from an elevator crash at a Lagos state facility on this day three years ago. No one was held accountable (not even the arrow that the governor’s wife blamed).
You were the commissioner for health then, and still the commissioner for health.
Like the broken healthcare system under the irresponsible government you serve, the elevator still hasn’t been fixed.
So, why should any medical professional trust you @ProfAkinAbayomi, or the government?
@EmmaOkoreMD poor communication skills. Poor understanding of the audience. Many Drs have that issues. There's a lot about these but I cant type it now
Let's not forget that Zidane, the young man from Southern Kaduna, was arrested by the authorities, and sentenced to death for finding the courage to defend his community against Fulani jihadists.
He's still on death row in Kaduna prison.
Self defence is not a crime. Zidane should be released immediately.
I spent my entire day finding companies abroad that are actively hiring remotely. I found a few companies all hiring remote workers and compiled them into one sheet.
