tl;dr-- this pilot project examined implementation outcomes of training probation officers to deliver contingency management for emerging adults w/SUD. They provide initial evidence for task-shifting to probation officers substance use evidence-based practices that are typically only offered by clinicians. This model would greatly increase service reach in many rural and frontier communities that lack access to such clinical services.
