🐱 This month we put up a fundraiser specifically for kitty litter, the first time in ages. Among the supplies that have gone up in price the past months is kitty litter, and that's really a non-negotiable one here. Keeping these growing babies healthy involves keeping them clean!

@DogDeskAction Jessy, my dearest soul, you had a difficult start in life and suffered a great deal until kind-hearted people found you and showered you with love and kindness. We would have loved so much for you to enjoy your new life even longer, but unfortunately, your body had other plans.💔
He has arrived safely. ❤️
Just a baby, under a year old, with a badly broken body.
The pressure sores on his body tell a heartbreaking story. He had been lying in the same spot for days, under temperatures exceeding 50°C, unable to move.
No one knows where he came from.
No one knows who his owner is.
He is now receiving urgent care, and we will share a full update very soon.
We are still £70 short of his transport bill and urgently need help with his treatment too.
Please help us give this baby a second chance.

Just a few of the photos we put in our free daily posts of residents on our Patreon page. Since the big push to increase subscribers, we bring in about 20% of our operating costs from our page's subscriptions and it's a huge relief. We'd love to make another big jump in numbers and we'll be putting all our public social media costs on there as well, all in one place!

💛🐾 Sunday Match Fund Update! 🐾💛
It’s time for another update on our incredible $20,000 Match Fund and we are now so close we can almost taste it!
🎉 We now need just £1,796 to reach our target and unlock the full $20,000 Match Fund.
We remain hopeful that somewhere out there are 1,796 amazing supporters willing to donate just £1 each and help us get over the finish line. Every single donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer.
And the exciting news doesn’t stop there...
💥 The moment we hit our target, we will launch the next £2,500 in Match Fund challenges, giving us the opportunity to raise even more for our Save the Shelter campaign and to help keep the dogs fed and watered.
🗳️ We have just 16 days of voting remaining in the current @MyGivingCircle round.
Right now, we are only around 1,000 votes away from 1st place on the leaderboard, so there is still time, especially with DOUBLE VOTES Weekend starting on 19 June!
The next couple of weeks could make a huge difference to the future of War Paws and the hundreds of animals who depend on us every day.
Please:
💛 Cast your FREE weekly vote
💛 Donate if you can
💛 Share our posts and fundraisers
💛 Encourage friends and family to do the same
Every vote, every share, and every donation helps us keep fighting for the animals.
Have a fantastic Sunday wherever you are in the world, and thank you for being part of the War Paws family. 🐶🐱💛

Iris is a mum who lost all her pups in Lancram. We think she’s had a very hard life & not much kindness💔
She’s safe with Florina now & I’ve promised to help her find a home.
We just received the best news…Iris’s tumour is benign 🙌
This means she has a bright future ahead 🥰
🙏 This little girl, Clover, came in to us earlier this afternoon (that’s Zahir comforting her). It looks like she has recently recovered from distemper, her paw pads are thickened and broken all the way through, her eyes and nose have purulent discharge, and she's incredibly thin. She has a minor involuntary neck twitch, which can often happen after distemper has reached a neurological stage.
So few dogs ever recover from that stage, let alone recover on their own, so we are going to give her a chance. She's also got minor mange, fleas, ticks, and worms, so it's a long risky road ahead. But she tested negative for distemper earlier today, so she shouldn't be shedding the virus anymore. Somehow she's still affectionate after all of this.
**We are about $500 away from our next pledged match on our salary fund. Everything helps.

🐾 We have so many growing puppy packs right now, and watching them flourish and come into their own is a balm for the soul. Everyone here worked so hard to help these puppies survive being orphaned so young and come through sickness and injuries.
We really do need everyone's help to keep this going. I know that budgets are tightening everywhere with costs increasing daily. We feel it too. But it takes so little to make a difference here, a lifesaving difference. And we need everyone to chip in what they can. We keep asking because hunger and pain don't stop here, and we can't say no. Especially in moments like this, we can't say no. We never have. If you can, please consider a gift to help us say yes to every face and every cry that enters our doors. 🐾
