regardless of how you feel about the official narrative, carbon markets and carbon pricing do not work even if you agree w the official narrative and have been rife with scams, hence the new buzzword "high integrity carbon market." i also think it's interesting that most of big oil and big gas are all in on carbon emission trading and offsets, kind of telling about what those solutions portend IMO

@elliottyoungpdx Disappointing. I expect better from an academic. A student could tell you the reason there is fewer 'crimes' is b/c the new DA had a much more lax policy, and of course the pandemic. Many who would have been tried before were set free after arrest, lowering the stats. And Covid.

I'm a critic of crypto (it's like beanie babies trading) but I short sell Coinbase stock because its price fluctuates predictably with the price of Bitcoin.
Rational or not, investors are using Coinbase stock as a proxy for investing in crypto broadly.
