The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes are genetic conditions. Genetic testing is available for all subtypes of EDS, except for hypermobile EDS, which can only be diagnosed on a clinical basis. The genetic cause(s) for this type have not yet been found. #raisingawarenesstogether
