To all the exasperated doctors and epidemiologists who saw this winter's COVID wave coming and wish that more had been done to prepare,
We understand how you feel.

@K_IngalaSmith @ObserverUK @thesundaytimes @CountDeadWomen Really important work @CountDeadWomen. Not all women make the headlines and they get forgotten as a statistic.
Just when you think the absurdity of victim blaming could not possibly go any further, here is a Police Commissioner openly blaming Sarah Everard for what happened to her on BBC radio https://t.co/brN6rRSf2q #FixTheSystemNotTheWomen
@EastMidRailway I still haven’t received a refund on a ticket I couldn’t use due to illness. I rebooked my journey, as advised by staff, like 4 like, same price but you’ve charged me 2x. Very bad experience with staff at call centre not knowing refund policy. What should I do?
@trishgreenhalgh Well Sunak & Johnson now have to self isol. They have failed to manage their individual risk so think it shows managing a pandemic by leaving it to “common sense” (the govt’s favourite trope) doesn’t work. Meanwhile having to deal with policy that makes no sense or is nonsense

Michael Marmot on sky news saying you don’t level up by building bridges and digging tunnels. Need to work in partnership with local areas & spend money on transport, jobs, housing to tackle #inequalities@AndyBurnhamGM. https://t.co/LYeGhShfQY
Unbelievable.

If you have been offered your vaccine but have not yet booked, make it your priority today. Ask your friends, colleagues, neighbours - have they had their vaccine & if not how can you help them get it. Don't hesitate. #VaccinesWork#ThirdWave
