🔵 Nearly 10,000 children in Gaza have contracted chickenpox as Israel’s blockade has left the Strip without the vaccine and deprived its health system of medicines and essential supplies, according to Dr. Ahmed Al-Fara, head of pediatrics at Nasser Medical Complex.

🔹A 2-year-old child died today from complications of the disease, Shehab News reported. Al-Fara said Israel’s forced displacement of Palestinians into overcrowded shelters, alongside devastated sanitation, medicine shortages and collapsing healthcare, is accelerating the spread of infectious disease.

🔹Child malnutrition is also rising sharply, while anemia now affects 50–55% of pregnant women and the abortion rate has reached about 47%, he said.

🔹UN reporting has independently documented more than 9,000 chickenpox cases and the severe overcrowding and health-system breakdown driving the outbreak.

Her eyes are swollen and red, and every tear she sheds only increases her pain and distress. The burning sensation is constant, and the intense itching prevents her from sleeping or finding any comfort. Doctors have confirmed that her condition requires urgent treatment.

Ayham Nasman, the sole survivor of his immediate family, returned to find his father, mother, and three siblings killed after an Israeli strike hit their residential apartment in Gaza's Al-Nasr neighborhood.

Ayham survived because he was not inside the apartment when it was struck.

The video shows him standing over the bodies of his family in the aftermath.

I took this still from the video because I wanted to look at Arwa’s face, the way I look at the face of anyone I want to know.

I didn’t want to know her only through the images of her mutilated body, the deep wounds in her arm, or her severed legs, one of which was placed beside her before her small body was wrapped in a white shroud.

I wanted to look into her eyes, at her small mouth that could barely scream as the bombs tore through her family and set their bodies ablaze.

I also wanted her to see me, and you. Eye to eye. Human to human.

Perhaps if we truly looked at her, something would awaken in this world and help stop the slaughter and burning of more human beings in Gaza.

🚨HORRIBLE: Another family wiped out in Gaza. An Israeli airstrike destroyed their home today, killing everyone inside. The only survivor was their son, seen wearing the orange shirt, who had gone outside moments before the strike.
