1st post! Most people just call me 'Doc Proc', btw. Particular interest: the strange byways and curious contraflows of history. On the trail of the mysterious Noxgaga of Anglo-Saxon England. Listed in the c.8th century Tribal Hidage, their location has always eluded historians...
In Breda. Met Grand Gubernator (GG) of Chivalric Order of the Chest at De Klok! Calls herself Gina. Gina the GG. Gave me steer (ooh aah, just a little bit of one) to next Big Clue on trail of Noxgaga's lost treasure! I'll find it in Utrecht. But only after my vegetarian moussaka
@DrHenryProctor The amount of times I have accidentally shredded famous and irreplicable manuscripts!
If anyone can find another copy, you can, Doc Proc.
Well, what an evening! Turned out Coral Society member Terry had been bumped off. His housekeeper kindly let me have a rummage through his old research papers - where I found this! Amazing! The Chivalric Order is quite the androcracy, it seems...
Found fascinating lead in late Terry L's research archive: 10th century 'Life of St Loubert of Lowestoft' contained clues to whereabouts of #LostTreasureOfTheNoxgaga. But accidentally destroyed in infamous office shredder incident at leading UK museum. Can I locate a copy?
@Her_Maj_Borg That's a good question. Something with a classical overtone. Maybe...Platonic Interaction on the Beach. (It could be like Sex on the Beach but non-alcoholic. Gotta keep a clear head when you're cracking those locked tomb mysteries.)
Made it to picturesque village of Little Clew where I'll be overnighting in the Map & Mattock. Village is in semi-lockdown due to string of unexplained deaths among the local Choral Society. Sorry, that should be Coral Society. Very big on marine invertebrates here, apparently.
Managed to track down Terry Lean, author of 'Secret Societies and Their Most Secret Secrets'. Heading over to the sleepy Cotswold village of Little Clew to check him out and pick his brains about the Chivalric Order of the Chest. Hope I don't get sucked into another whodunnit...
