It belongs to my incredible collaborators and mentors who made my journey possible.
I appreciate you all.
Texas mourns the loss of Army Pvt. Isabella Gonzales of Carrollton, killed in action serving our nation in Jordan. She was just 19 years old. Her courage and sacrifice represent the very best of Texas.
Cecilia and I pray for her family, and for the family of 1st Lt. Tyler Feehan of Hawaii. Our nation is forever indebted to them both. God bless our fallen heroes, and God bless Texas.
My heart goes out to the victims of today’s shooting in Cypress, TX.
I’m thankful for the law enforcement officers on the ground who apprehended the shooter.
I will be monitoring the situation closely, and praying for a swift recovery for all those affected.
This year, we celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary and Texas A&M’s 150th anniversary, carrying forward the land‑grant mission that helped shape our nation’s future.
From 1776 to 1876 to today, these milestones reflect a shared legacy of service, leadership and commitment to the public good.
Our story is part of the American story. Together, we stand to inspire the future generation to be a force for good.
