@DrKTA1 All the best Kath! One of the biggest complements I have had recently was “you really remind me of my old consultant, Dr Anderson”! I try to keep modelling your compassionate and enquiring leadership style. All the best for the next adventure!
@marksandspencer Please explain why in mid September it is apparently “not the season” to buy a child’s woolly hat, and yet you are selling mince pies and Advent Calenders?!!!
One of best jobs ever…. I should know it used to be mine 😃 great opportunity to shape the future of nursing both as part of @ELHSCP senior management team and @NHS_Lothian professional nursing leadership team. Happy to chat to anyone considering application.
@jmwoods87@JRBneuropsiq It took 3 clinic appointments and finally a hospital admission to get one lady off her LT metoclopramide. I offered multiple alternatives which she didn’t even try. In the end the hospital stopped it outright and no nausea! Probably has PD though.
Deleting twitter for a while. This perpetual Scottish lockdown is getting me down. See you on the other side (or when I miss reading about terrible OSCEs and watching cat videos)!
@DrDavidWarriner Yes if I specifically want a consultant opinion or a specific consultants opinion then I would contact them directly, especially if I think my request will be “inconvenient”! It does depend on the consultant, the juniors/ANP and the situation though!
@jasonleitch@ScotGovFM Thank you for issuing the plan so we can prepare & plan for the coming months. Please can you explain the rationale for opening visiting to care homes before pre-school nurseries given high rates of infection in care homes & that most nurseries have small classes sizes?
DCN out-patients has moved to RIE. First Seizure Clinic appointments can now be booked using 0131 3121552. Changes to @RefHelp_Lothian and SCI-GW to follow soon.
Today @ScotGovFM announced the Scottish Government's next steps; Scotland's route map through and out of this crisis. You can read it here: https://t.co/CmHcG0Ktv0
Please remember, nothing changes today, changes will depend on progress. #StayHomeSaveLives
@AnnaandHobbes @dan26wales This! It’s about making a decision in the face of uncertainty. That’s the hard part and the bit that Trainees look up to you for. At least I did! The advantage you have if you can be open about your uncertainty is that your team will be with you and have your back too.
