3) The goal of my course is that they will gain an understanding of and appreciation for the content I am teaching, not memorizing stuff. The assessment and my view of cheating needs to reflect that.

2) I align my assessment with my lessons, so I literally told them how to go about finding every answer during class. That isn’t cheating, it is exactly what I want them to know

A few thoughts on the fear of students cheating during remote assessments. 1) If they can easily cheat, then my assessment kind of sucks.
