I worked a few homework problems in class today. In one problem they asked about the electric field generated by an elephant nose fish. Having never seen one before, this was my diagram. Not bad 😆
FTR - It is not “training” that causes a cop to put a 6yr old girl-child, facedown on asphalt, with weapon drawn, no less; it is the ability to de-humanize the person in front of you. You must divorce yourself from reality.

3) The goal of my course is that they will gain an understanding of and appreciation for the content I am teaching, not memorizing stuff. The assessment and my view of cheating needs to reflect that.
2) I align my assessment with my lessons, so I literally told them how to go about finding every answer during class. That isn’t cheating, it is exactly what I want them to know
