So, I haven’t been vocal on this platform for several years now. Today I can no longer keep silent. My mom is 80 years old. She has been sick for 36 years. She has been in and out of hospital since March of this year with a host of problems. She was readmitted to 1/?

These conditions are mind blowing for what used to be a world class, sought after healthcare system. HOWEVER, if we think this is bad, just imagine what this looks like once the 2 tier, paid for system is in full swing. This looks 100 times worse then. #StopKillingAlbertans 11/?

This will happen to almost ALL of our sub-specialists in Alberta!
Govt will open the floodgates to unfettered private care delivery, they’ll move to MUCH higher paying low acuity community care
Then govt will scratch its head and blame doctors when govt can’t staff hospitals

2. “Those on chemotherapy” are not registered by their doctors as lifelong recipients.
