AC/DC - Highway to Hell
1979, hard rock
Again, dad's music. I don't particularly like it although I'll admit it is pioneering a lot of things, and I do understand why this band (and this album in particular) is so famous.
(also, all of this is part of greater plan)

Guns n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
1987, hard rock
I don't really like this band but this is an interesting album, and kind of a "landmark" in the history of music, especially in the transition from rock to hard rock to metal
Today I'm leaving Singapore and I am already experiencing pre-withdrawal syndrome
I know that tomorrow at noon I will crave chicken rice and won't be able to get it and I'll feel miserable
Let it be known that, for the sake of this little ritual of mine, I have to dive in music I haven't listened to since high school
Not that it bother me or anything but oof, memories
The Cure - Disintegration
1989, goth rock/post punk
Again not easy recommending one album, so I went with "the famous one"
The Cure (and by that I mean Robert Smith) has a weird disco, with ups and downs, famous hits and obscure experiments, not always good but still interesting
J.-L. Godard, one of the greatest, most influential filmmaker in history has died
I cannot even begin to describe how his filmography and writing has changed the way I see cinema
Alphaville, in particular, is a movie that affected me deeply
