The worst thing about burn out is that by the time it presents youโre so much of a mess that you have no idea what to do about it.
Work turns into a constant battle where you're just fighting to survive.
Your mind becomes consumed by the negativity of work overload and lack of control.
You're focus is narrowly locked in on the perceived threat to life. This means there's no room for the creative thinking required to get yourself out of the problem.
Instead of rising like a phoenix, you end up more like a cooked chicken!
The only way to avoid this is by opening your mind to new possibilities outside the oven.
Allow yourself to zoom out and take in fresh perspectives.
