Thank you Dr Martow for clearly shedding the light on the truth about the 32 years of neglect of all governments in properly funding eye exams in Ontario. @celliottability@fordnation it’s time to do the right thing and the first step is to call @OAOPresident. #saveeyecare
Today I joined @farwell_WR on @CityNewsKIT to discuss the ongoing optometry dispute in Ontario.

Optometrists have reached a critical point where they can no longer continue to provide OHIP funded eye care at a loss.
Please visit https://t.co/d8QxydjKGf to add your voice to the 197,009 others asking for sustainable eye care in Ontario.

In Alberta, optometrists are paid over twice the OHIP compensation rate for Ontario optometrists. Eye care is a fundamental part of health care, and providers should be fairly compensated for their services. #SaveEyeCare
All eye exams covered by OHIP stopped on Sept. 1, and now kids are struggling to read lessons in school and seniors can’t get prescriptions.
This morning, I’m calling on Ford to get back to the table with optometrists to give children and seniors the eye care they need. #onpoli

@AMIKellyMac@AccessibleMedia Thank you Kelly! I would love to chat about some of the new technologies as well as the fact that I often have patients who sit in my chair astonished of all the help that is available and no one ever thought to refer them much earlier. Huge lack of education is still too common
@AMIKellyMac Thank you Kelly (@AMIKellyMac ). Looking forward to finally grasping the world of tweeting and sharing exciting new technology and information! Love the work you continue to do @AccessibleMedia !
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with @RiceKrispies to create accessible ‘Love Notes’ in the form of #Braille stickers and re-recordable audio boxes so family members can share messages of encouragement with blind children. https://t.co/XXfj7kmAKs #SoMuchToLove
