@Dr_Claire_B I changed specialty 12 years after finishing the foundation programme and post CCT in GP- the FPH wanted a copy of my certificate of foundation competency which was only issued in paper form. Definitely merit in keeping this sort of thing forever!

@DrEilidhMaria I completely disagree with this person but I think it’s worth noting that currently the military pay isn’t always better than the same NHS grade. I think Ailsa is right that things have changed in the military too regarding pay and like the NHS not for the better.
