@ThatsSoVillage Opposition player hit a 6 over the fence and hedgerow at long on. One of their players went round to fetch it and misjudged throwing it back over, the ball landed right in the middle of hedge and was lost.
In the youth ministry / practical theology world & interested in some bargain summer reading - my book is only £12 in the @SCM_Press summer sale: https://t.co/NeCExBBm6a. As @ali_theresource said in his Church Times review: 'this book will enlarge your outlook'!

@ThatsSoVillage Reached 172/2 after 18 overs chasing 217 (in 40 overs), then collapsed to 197/8 thanks to poor shots, a comical run out & some good bowling. Scraped home to win by 2 wkts thanks in large part to a fielder inexplicably dropping a sitter on the boundary & tipping it over for 6.
We can't believe it's that time again! Yesterday we celebrated 44 ordinands and 30 students from our Caleb stream here in our London centre who have finished their time at St. Mellitus. Our hearts are full as we pray for and celebrate these amazing leaders.
"Transformational" is how Bob Pigott describes his time at St Mellitus College.
After stepping away from faith for 25 years, Bob is now studying as an Independent second-year student at our East Midlands centre.

When my kids were in primary school, the Head wanted to move to Friday lunchtime finish & one of his reasons was so that families could go away for longer weekends🤦 2/2)
The article says Friday pupil absences are worse in Primary schools. In my area at least Primary schools have largely moved to lunchtime finishes on Fridays. Maybe @GillianKeegan could look at this as a factor rather than tiresomely blaming parents 1/2)
