Jefferson Reconstructive Urology Fellowship Open House. Dr Michael Metro and Paul Chung Co-Directors
Come hear about our exciting program in Male Recon and Prosthetics. Exciting “new” fellowship with a rich history.
NYU Reconstructive Urology Fellowship has opening for 2025-2026. High volume (600+ cases) in cutting edge innovative surgery. Contact me for details. [email protected]
@lee_c_zhao As a resident who worked with 5 fellows, a GURS fellow at Temple, and finally a GURS fellow at NYU, I can say that whoever fills this spot is one lucky soul. Somehow I’m a little jealous. Feel free to DM me if you have questions.
Urology residents/fellows finishing 2026 and looking for a high volume experience in complex reconstruction, please reach out DM/email. Our volume continues to grow and we continue to innovate to develop new procedures to solve intractable problems.
Taking some time to reflect this summer weekend. Almost 10 yrs ago, I started @NYUUrology after training @NM_Urology@UTSWUrology. Just got promoted to Professor @nyulangone. Grateful to my patients, partners, fellows, residents, students for an incredible decade.
NYU Langone's transgender reconstructive surgery team co-led by @lee_c_zhao has completed >500 gender-affirming surgeries.
A recent study finds most patients undergoing robotic peritoneal flap vaginoplasty here achieve orgasm in a year. #Pride

Incredibly grateful to our patients for trusting @nyulangone with their journey. Dr. Rachel Bluebond-Langner and I are proud to move the field forward through science and evidence #theBestOutcomes
If I could trade Doctor’s day for Resident’s day, I would do it in a heartbeat. And that’s coming from a new attending with no residents. Residents, I salute you! @DMCUrology@TempleUrology@NYUUrology
Excited to share multi-institutional study w @USC_Urology & others @urogoldjournal Robotic repair of ureteroenteric strictures: 58 renal units, LOS 2d, >90% success. No more chronic stent changes!

@eys_cho Doesn’t surprise me considering the amount of penile anatomy I’ve see during disassembly during vaginoplasty. Plenty of veins from spongiosum to cavernosum. Leads me to believe that significant blood flow is bulbar artery ➡️ vein’s from sponge ➡️ cavernosum during erection.
