SITE VISIT | SIYOI-MURUNY DAM, WEST POKOT COUNTY
Today I joined the Board and technical team of the National Water Harvesting & Storage Authority for an inspection of the Siyoi-Muruny Dam Project in West Pokot County.
Lot 1 of the project comprises the dam component a strategic
investment designed to enhance water storage capacity, strengthen water security, and support long-term socio-economic development in the region.

What begins as flood control becomes a foundation for thriving communities.
Our visit to the River Sabwani Flood Control Works in Trans Nzoia County highlighted the importance of investing in infrastructure that protects lives, preserves productive farmland, and supports

SITE VISIT | RIVER SABWANI FLOOD CONTROL WORKS, TRANS NZOIA COUNTY
Today, I led the Board of the National Water Harvesting & Storage Authority on an inspection visit to the River Sabwani Flood Control Works in Kwanza Sub-County.
The project is a vital intervention in protecting
communities, farmland, livelihoods, and infrastructure from recurrent flooding while strengthening climate resilience and water security.
We are encouraged by the progress on the ground and the positive impact already being realized. Sustainable water infrastructure remains key
