Visited the Transportation Depart. I had to check to make sure there wasn't a party going on and they failed to invite me. The music was energetic, complimenting their vibe. They even took me on a tour of our 4 new buses. This is why they received a 100% rating from MO Hghwy Adm.

Had the privilege of joining our secretaries for their professional learning session. These are the individuals w/ the hands & hearts that hold our schools/offices together, greeting families, comforting students, supporting staff, and keeping the office running smoothly.

School Visit Chronicles- During the summer visits take on a different form, as I embark on "ghost walks" in silence. Although the atmosphere can be harsh, the smell of fresh wax is a pleasant indicator that the staff & students will be back soon.

Responsibilities were a little different today, as "other duties as needed" looked like packing groceries alongside volunteers for the Raytown Summer Lunch Ministry. When school's out, the need for our families doesn't pause, and neither does our commitment.
