As snow-covered roads and reduced visibility are creating hazardous conditions throughout our region. The Raytown Fire Protection District crews are ready to assist our community during this winter weather event.

Just before 3:30 this morning Raytown Fire and Kansas City Fire responded to the 9500 block of Olmsted Rd on a house fire. Upon arrival heavy smoke and fire was showing from a residence.

Heavy smoke, fire reported at overnight house fire at 9500 Olmstead Road.

Gas and power lines were down at the rear of the home.

No serious injuries were reported.
