The problem with much of our governmental response to COVID is that policy decisions have been transferred to elites and “experts” instead of from “we the people.” This inevitably leads to tyranny and a trampling of unlienable rights.
MSNBC called the Coronavirus "a silver lining" because it could take down Trump
Joe Biden said he was "excited" about the "institutional changes" Democrats could make because of the virus
27 million Americans out of work
And all the left cares about is beating Trump
Shameful.
You can argue that other people should have to lose their jobs and wait 6 hours in line at the food bank so that you and your family can feel safe, but please just don't pretend to be the selfless one in this debate
When I am president, any public official who justifies any encroachment on liberty on the basis that “if it saves one life it will be worth it,” will be tarred and feathered and thrown into the sea
If 40 percent of a state is going to be jobless, it’s not AT ALL compassionate for any governor to keep the economy shut down a MINUTE longer than necessary.
22M Americans unemployed.
Not because of coronavirus.
But thanks to govt mandated lockdowns.
A virus didn’t do this to us.
Our politicians did.
Think about that next time you cast your ballot.
Those on the right who blindly followed the experts’ COVID orthodoxy (models, govt response) will kick themselves soon for not standing up for freedom and commonsense sooner.
1. Stay locked down for many weeks. This might avert corona disaster but it guarantees economic disaster.
2. Open the economy back up, keep vulnerable quarantined. This probably averts economic disaster and might avert corona disaster.
Option 2 seems the most rational.
Reality check:
-Booming economy, gone
-Businesses closing
-Unemployment soaring
-Hysteria & fear rule
Which is worse, the illness or our "fix"?
Americans stand up to challenges. Don't succumb to fear! Trust in God.
Protect yourself and others, and move forward!
