@RandipJanda@Sportsnet650 I believe that Manny believes this. It also fundamentally ignores the past two years of EP's on ice play. And the fact he's been miscast as a 1st line center.
He is not one no matter what his paycheck is.
@CanucksArmy Coaching is not EP's problem. He cannot be a number #1 center. It's too much pressure for him, and on a team with such a lack of depth it's worse.
He was miscast and paid as a number #1 center and that bell cannot be unrung.
One does not simply win an election in California. Its Fell Polls are guarded by more than just Antifa. There is vice there that is never sated, and the DNC is ever watchful. It is a morally barren wasteland, riddled with poverty and addiction and fraud. The very air you breathe is soon to be taxed. Not with all of DOGE or the DOJ could you do this. It is folly!
@CanucksArmy Interest in a Kraken assistant after they all got fired? Maybe just the best people for the job who are coming off success would be a reasonable idea. Could cost a bit more so that's an issue.
@jarvis_best Isn't this all "Waaaah, if we're not in charge, burn it down"? Disagree all you want based on "principles" but thems the breaks. Doesn't always go your way!
@CanucksArmy If Montreal pays us to take him, great. If not then we can reset the culture for cheaper. There will be solid vets looking for a place to play next season. No need to do the Canadians a favor.
I was thinking about this a little. It doesn't have to be upheaval. They could announce it as a national (global?) program with targeted, specific use cases.
Promise to share with major energy companies as they wean off oil. Level the playing field over a cautious period of time. Plan out a decade or two.
Have faster moving programs in developing countries to show what is possible in places where people truly need assistance.
It doesn't have to blow up any economies. It can be scaled such that the market absorbs it slowly. Companies that have never had a chance to benefit from access can be insulated from surprise.
@rosscoulthart If the WH releases something extremely significant, like a statement on the subject that takes a strong position, any hype could be forgiven.
@sekeresandprice If the Canucks can swap 3 for 2 because the Sharks want a defenseman anyway, and Nux are honest with the Sharks and commit to taking Stenberg, then it would be nuts for the Sharks not to do it. Pick up a 3rd or a prospect. Both teams get exactly what they want.
@CanucksArmy The question is more of the same from EP40, or....he suddenly transforms into the players he was while turning 28 at the start of next season.
