@juliathrift@mitchell_silver They were! As you know, Central Park had the support of doctors saying just that. It was a big reason why Central Park was funded. I’m with you! Let’s popularize this idea again!
@pearlizumi I am exchanging a pair of your bike shorts but wanting to get them back in a week. Can you charge me for the new pair and reverse that charge when my return arrives there? I’m already out $12 in shipping for the returns.
@HartSchoolSRM was lucky to have @mitchell_silver speak to our students during what will now have been his last yr as NYC Parks Commissioner. https://t.co/LGtOZA6Qzv… via @AFineLyne. See article for the many meaningful ways he’s made a lasting impact on parks and equity in NYC.
Just incredible to see a Snowy owl in Central Park yesterday! It's only the second time one has been recorded in the park, the first time being in 1890! Thanks to those that reported the sighting so that so many were able to see this spectacular bird! #birdcp#centralparkbirds
New Yorkers want more open streets, bike lanes, and bus lanes, and they’re willing to sacrifice some free parking to get them, according to a new poll. https://t.co/a007SDEq4n
@Dawna_Stone Named CEO of Running USA: An impressive background of creating ideas and building them from the ground up into highly successful, sustainable programs. A role model for our students. https://t.co/gQXJdH49VS… https://t.co/0vSUumoFq1
@HJPetch Direct payments of 2k aren’t a good idea. The money won’t get to the people who need it that way bc a lot of America is doing fine. They have jobs, are saving on travel, etc. If they don’t need it, most ppl save it rather than spending it and stimulating the economy.
@NYCParks Very impressive! Looks like that playground was maybe one step from being wheelchair accessible though? Are there inclusive components I don’t see?
