These exploitative practices are puranic corruption of humble ancient indian traditions. Nor do they sit right with our modern secular moral values. This betrays a deep disregard and lack of understanding of Indian history and ethics, that "sadhus" their political sponsors have.

If "sadhus" want nudist beaches and riverfronts they should petition the government for the same, they need not use kumbh for their kinks. You can dip with clothes too. They can have their NangaNach in walled off areas or areas with restricted entry. Not where families/kids go.

One had to go looking for them in their forest cottages to learn their philosophy and ethics. Unlike these Sadhus who need smartphones/cars, who address the parliament in nude, who canvass votes for politicians & take underage girls in dakshina from devotees as was seen in kumbh.
