@BixbyPSSupt I am amazed that a person who touts himself as an educator uses hateful speech against another educator. You have the right to ask questions without allegations being brought in a public meeting w/no evidence presented and most certainly without being called names
Need y’all to listen to the measured pushback by Mid-Del Super Dr. Rick Cobb on some of the misinfo spread by Supt. Walters toward Mid-Del school district. It takes all of us to fight authoritarianism, y’all. 👂
@markrsports State law still governs open transfers. If districts follow the law it’s based on capacity and first in first out timing, all request are supposed to be time stamped and capacity listed on state website.
Forcing Oklahomans to fund religious teachings with their tax dollars is not religious freedom — it is state-sponsored religion, which violates the first clause of the First Amendment. https://t.co/UEBcxtwwel
How do you classify “Fake Rage”? If someone is mad about something they’re mad. Dismissing the rage over the removal of pictures of educators that dedicated their lives to children doesn’t make it go away. What it does is show continued disrespect for others and their feelings.
@ryanmwalters As a current district administrator and former US History teacher, I can tell you with 100% certainty these claims are false and we teach Oklahoma Academic Standards approved by the Oklahoma state legislature. This is a ludicrous, pandering video and completely disingenuous.
Ryan Walters just equated teachers associations to slave owners! Unbelievable on so many levels!! He is not what oklahoma needs as a leader of a diverse student and teacher population.
I don’t understand why anyone would vote for R. Walters to lead a state agency that he doesn’t understand. Not to mention he has completely alienated those who have dedicated their lives to public education. #GraceforOklahoma
If you follow me , you know I have never asked anyone to donate to a political campaign. Here is a link to donate to my colleagues campaign. Not for me but the 600,000+ students in Oklahoma. Literally every dollar helps. Thank you. https://t.co/SAmQz9TAv7
@AndrewGilmanOK@AndrewGilmanOK do you think that both actions could be considered “performantive”? Not taking a side, just asking a question. Bible does talk about praying, giving, etc as an act of worship privately, not to be a show/distraction, so I agree on DEMONSTRATIVE public prayer.
