@anarchyco @juberti Totally, we'll get there eventually. Software has been becoming more industrial and less of a craft in order to scale.
I foresee a new breed of expert consultants that will quickly jump between projects in need thanks to AIs providing a good summary of how they actually work.

@anarchyco @juberti I think it's going to be extremely hard for AI to compete with humans, similarly to self-driving cars the issue is that AI would have to adapt to current processes which are optimized for humans, and we can't understand machine code.

@anarchyco re maximizing ads for impressions -- I'm guessing that's something the advertiser would choose, most ads I see on Twitter are governmental campaigns and brand advertising, both should optimize for impressions not clicks

@jamaa @anarchyco I see what you mean but the problem tends to be copying simple solutions from other problems, each solution must be perfectly tailored to the problem at hand and then optimized, so it becomes simple and clear while remaining right, there are no shortcuts :)

@anarchyco @krankygeek agree with that feedback, the problem is that without high precision timers it's not really feasible to adjust the work load in many scenarios. I would be super happy if there was some browser event notifying when the fans kick in, that's what users really complain about 😊
