@r_publishing's latest issue includes the article @VeraCastiglione and I wrote as part of the @InnoConf collection. The article suggests possible ways to facilitate the development of students' #intercultural competence along with their linguistic skills
Now released our latest publication in the @InnoConf collection: "Innovative language teaching and learning at university: treasuring languages" edited by @APlutino, @KBorthwick & @eriCorradini. Enjoy! https://t.co/0vyRndVCXm
The new issue of @CivettaMagazine is out, congrats to all students! This issue proudly features an interview with Italian hip-hop artist @Amirissaa who's coming to Bristol in Jan to hold a rap writing workshop for the students! Amir ti aspettiamo, DAJE!! https://t.co/msDgsLBlVn
Agreed! Even before this trivial cover, this portraying it as an "italianization of UK politics" pissed me off. It's a suberfuge to position the faults elsewhere and it fits perfectly in the colonial narrative"we're the greatest (it's just few morons who are like those Italians)"
Inspiring keynote this morning by Abdoolkarim Vakil at @Lan_GW4 about how to rethink language modules to decolonise the curriculum and foster epistemic justice in the classroom. More of this please!
Students are occupying the Wills building in solidarity with the UCU's demands. l can't be there to show my support because l'm stuck home with Covid, but if you can please go!
Only a week later I'm feeling a fool for hoping my employer would engage with UCU's proposal. Infuriating universities are being so intransigent about what a viable solution looks like. I'm picketing today, let's sprinkle love onto this protest, morale is low #ucustrikes
