Last week, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the @Freedom4Teachrs Summit. When I was there, I signed the pledge to walk away from the teacher unions. I withdrew my teacher union membership a couple of years ago and a friend of mine withdrew her membership last week after the summit.
Both of us chose to walk away from the teacher unions because they use the monthly dues that teachers pay them to give to Democrat politicians and implement a radical leftist agenda in the schools.
One of the best ways to weaken the teacher unions is for teachers to exit the teacher unions affiliated with the @NEAToday and @AFTunion. I withdrew my teacher union membership a couple of years ago and a friend withdrew her membership last week after the summit.
Finally, another way to weaken the teacher unions, is for Congress to revoke their Federal Charters. As your congresswoman, I will advocate for Congress to revoke their Federal Charters.
As a classroom teacher, I've had the privilege of helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence. I've also seen firsthand how decisions made far from the classroom can affect students, teachers, and parents.
Our schools should be places where students are challenged, supported, and prepared for the future. I believe parents should be partners in their child's education, teachers should be empowered to teach, and our focus should always be on helping every student succeed.
That's the future I want for Virginia's classrooms.
Healthcare shouldn't feel like a maze.
Far too many families are forced to spend hours navigating complicated paperwork, confusing billing systems, and endless bureaucracy just to receive the care they need. Patients deserve a system that is easier to understand, more transparent, and focused on their well-being.
I believe healthcare decisions should be made by patients and their doctors, not by Washington bureaucrats. We need to simplify the system, increase transparency, and lower costs so families can focus on getting healthy instead of fighting through red tape.
Healthcare should work for Virginians, not against them.
Virginia's 10th Congressional District is home to more than 400 data centers, the highest concentration in the nation. That leadership brings opportunity, but it also brings responsibility.
We can support innovation without sacrificing our communities or our environment. New data centers should be developed responsibly, with strong environmental protections, meaningful community input, and transparency throughout the process.
The companies that profit from these projects should pay the costs they create. Virginia families should not see higher utility bills or be left paying for private development.
We can grow our economy while protecting what makes Virginia special. Responsible growth means putting Virginians first.
THE DATA CENTER INDUSTRY HATES ME-
They will try everything they can to stop me from becoming the next Fauquier Supervisor of the Scott District. Won't you contribute to my campaign? https://t.co/J6lZp9qFSu
Since education and parental rights are huge issues in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, it is concerning that @RepSuhas voted "NO" to H.R.2616- Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act.
If this bill becomes federal law, it will require elementary and middle schools to obtain parental consent before changing a minor's gender markers, pronouns, or preferred name on any school form or sex-based accommodations, including locker rooms or bathrooms in order to receive Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) funds. Also, it will prevent schools from using ESEA funds to teach gender ideology.
I would have voted for this bill because protecting kids, parental rights, and stopping indoctrination are issues I strongly support and that matter greatly to the constituents living in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

@Amy_Keroes@Julie4Virginia@RepSuhas Mr.Suhas should understand that Virginia State Law prevents local Supervisor Boards from enacting any sort of moratorium- Julie Perry knows. VA 10 supports Miss Julie For Congress!
Every school district in Virginia prohibits political activity during the school hours. Therefore, not only did this teacher violate Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) policy, but she also did not offer the Jen Kiggins campaign the opportunity to have volunteers for her class. This is blatant disparagement treatment.
It is time for these leftist teachers, school officials, and their lawyers to be held accountable. This plays into a big reason that I running. I will strongly advocate for Congressional investigations, hearings, and legislation that holds these leftist school officials and lawyers accountable when I win.
