This one involved battling with random products (I.e. shampoo/water in a spray bottle & energy saving mirror-tinted window film).

Check out this suspected female bittern as she eyes up her prey within the comfort of the wetland. Bittern depend on their excellent sight to hunt their prey such as frogs, small eels, spiders and a variety of fish.

It’s early morning and local rangers are heading out to three Waikato peat lakes.

They’re hoping to find waikaka/black mudfish, a native fish with a clever little trick. It has found a way to do what most fish cannot... survive out of water.

@DrScienceLover @ktecollins Our bubble went camping last weekend (in the back garden). So slept in tents, toasted marshmallows and ate camping food. A few ppl we know who don't have back gardens also camped but inside their houses, I.e. put the tent up in lounge or made tents out of bed sheets.
